Preserving the History of Richmondville, New York

We're a few years old, a few dollars short of what we need and really full of vigor and vinegar.

The C.A. Bunn Mill, Richmondville, N.Y.

An overshot water wheel is enclosed inside the mill.

The Richmondville Historical Society has purchased the former C.A. Bunn Feed Mill on High Street, which was built about 1885. We plan to reopen it as a working museum.

The 12,000-square feet, three-story building was apparently built as a carriage factory. It was purchased in the 1890s by C. Arthur Bunn for use as feed mill, and was used at a feed mill as late as the 1980s.

It's going to take a good deal of money and many years of work to restore the mill. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated. You may support the project by sending green money to the Richmondville Historical Society at P.O. Box 316, Richmondville, N.Y. 12149.
